Boundaries of the Work
Rooted Systems engages organizations in structured reflection and systems analysis designed to strengthen leadership, accountability, and sustainability.
To maintain ethical clarity and the integrity of the process, there are several roles this work does not take on.
Rooted Systems does not:
Conduct investigations or determine fault in workplace conflicts
Provide mediation between individual staff members
Offer therapy or clinical services
Implement organizational change on behalf of leadership
Absorb responsibility that belongs to governing bodies or executive leadership
Instead, Rooted Systems supports organizations in examining the systems, leadership practices, and structural conditions shaping the challenges they are facing.
Leaders retain ownership of decisions, pacing, and implementation. This ensures that any change that occurs is structural, accountable, and sustainable.
Data Ethics
Our Commitment to Ethical Data Stewardship
Rooted Systems approaches organizational data with care, restraint, and responsibility.
We believe:
Data collection should be minimal and purposeful.
Listening is relational, not extractive.
Documentation should protect dignity.
Repair work requires containment, not exposure.
We do not:
Retain raw disclosures beyond necessity.
Share identifiable information in reports.
Collect personal data unrelated to engagement scope.
Use client information for marketing without explicit consent.
Our work centers systems, patterns, and accountability — not surveillance
Confidentiality is care made visible.
